The holiday season is a time for gathering, giving, and supporting the people and organizations that make our communities stronger. The 2026 Portland Festival of Trees brings all of that together in one festive event benefiting the Portland Children’s Dyslexia Center.
Held at the Portland Masonic Temple located at 415 Congress Street in Portland, the Festival of Trees will fill two holiday weekends with decorated trees, raffles, local vendors, and opportunities to support children and families in our community.
More Than 30 Decorated Trees
One of the highlights of the Festival is the collection of more than 30 decorated trees, each featuring decorations and gifts provided by participating sponsors.
Visitors can purchase raffle tickets and place them toward the trees they would most like to win. Tree raffle tickets are 10 for $10, making it easy to take a chance on a favorite while supporting an important cause.
The Festival will also feature a silent auction and 50/50 raffles, giving visitors even more ways to participate.
Shop the Holiday Craft Fair
The Festival of Trees is also a great place to begin—or finish—your holiday shopping.
Approximately 30 craft vendors will offer items including stained glass, woodworking, handmade purses and totes, jewelry, crocheted animals, and other handcrafted gifts.
The Craft Fair will be open during most Festival dates, giving visitors an opportunity to shop local while enjoying the holiday displays.
Enter the L.L. Bean Gift Card Raffle
The Portland Children’s Dyslexia Foundation is also holding its annual L.L. Bean Gift Card Raffle.
Only 2,500 tickets will be sold at $10 each, with three prizes:
- $1,000 L.L. Bean Gift Card
- $750 L.L. Bean Gift Card
- $500 L.L. Bean Gift Card
Raffle tickets are available through the Valley of Portland Secretary’s Office at the Portland Masonic Temple.
Helping Children Learn and Thrive
Behind the decorated trees and holiday festivities is an important mission.
Proceeds from the Portland Festival of Trees support the Portland Children’s Dyslexia Center, which provides children with dyslexia with reading and written-language instruction at no cost to their parents.
The Center also trains tutors in the multisensory Orton-Gillingham approach to reading, spelling, and writing.
Supporting the Festival means helping children gain skills that can change their experience in school, strengthen their confidence, and open new opportunities for learning.
